Hello friends,
I hope this message finds you all well. Hold onto your schedules as it is time to get back into Worship and Ministry as School is back in Session. Last night, there was a joint Church Council meeting with some of the Leaders of Saint Paul’s and Good Sam – the love, acceptance and professionalism in the room was inviting and comforting. Saint Paul’s is excited about their commitment to partner with us on this first part of our
Journey – I am excited to see what happens next.
A Few Announcements:
- Back to School Bash: We are hosting our Back to School Bash jointly this year, we have invited Saint Paul’s to also join us. It will be on Sunday, August 25th from 3 - 5pm. We are needing folks to help bring food items and if you would like to work the event, that would be great as well. We especially need some folks to help with the Water Slide, this is a super fun job, I know, I have done it for YEARS but am ready to pass the baton over to anothe. Please reach out to me, contact below and we will get busy to welcome in our School Year and kick off our Fall Season.
- Youth Roundup: Saint Paul’s has a Youth Program that will begin soon, they meet at 5pm on Sundays. There is an informational meeting this coming Sunday, August 18th at Noon in the Parlor below Sanders Hall where we Worship, parents and youth are invited!

Our meetings are scheduled for 1 hour and 15 minutes to respect everyone’s time. If you would liek to attend you can do so by joining ZOOM with the information below

- K Cups for Conley - If you are not aware, one of our missions is to help with providing K-cups and creamer for Conley Elementary to assist their staff with staying awake, ha ha, and to bless them with a cup of coffee as they begin their mornings with there difficult job of teaching the future leaders of our Community. It is a simple way to show them that we are thinking of them and blessing their day. If you are interested in donating, please bring your donations to Church on Sundays and you can give donations to Suzanne Van Wyk who is overseeing this Project, or any other Leadership member.
-
