Next Sermon for October 8th

"Embracing Hope"

Dear Oak Grove Family,

Wave Your White Flag

This past Sunday we ended worship waiving our white flags as we took a moment to reflect on the places in our life and at Oak Grove where we need to surrender and trust that not only is God is on the move, but that God’s plan is better than our plans.

The simple breakthrough prayer “Thy will be done” or “Your will not my will” offers us an opportunity throughout the day to refocus on what God wants us to do.

We will have the white flags out for you to take as a reminder of the power of surrender. All of the white flags have been prayed over individually as we prepared for worship this past Sunday.

God’s breakthroughs are not ending with the sermon series! I can’t wait to hear about how God continues to break through the barriers that are holding us back.

Peace & Blessings,

Pastor Amanda

Hello, Dear Church -

We praise God for the amazing start of our young adult ministry this week! The O.G.’s gathered on Tuesday night for a time of fellowship, visioning, and prayer. We had 12 people attend our first night! Thank you, church, for all of your prayers and support for this new small group. (A special thank you to our childcare workers that provided an essential need for parents to attend!) I ask that you continue to lift us up in prayer and to invite the young adults (post-high school through 40) in your life to attend. Our next meeting is October 17th, 6:30-8pm in The Lounge upstairs for food, fellowship, and study discussion. As always, if you have questions, please email me. Thanks be to God!
