Please note that street parking is not permitted in the neighborhood around the stadium. Do not park on side streets or in permitted residential areas. Illegal parking will be strictly enforced.

Natural Grocers Community Garden Workday!

May 17, 5 - 7 p.m. at 2401 Ford Street


The Natural Grocers Community Garden in Golden would like to invite you to two workdays as they prepare the garden for the season. They will be weeding, moving compost, and working on other assorted projects followed by a casual garden meet-and-greet!

Lead Service Line Potholing Has Begun


The City is partnering with Five Star Energy Services to test residences in Golden for galvanized lead in their service lines.


Homes built before 1940 are at the highest risk of containing a lead or galvanized line, and if your home is potentially impacted you can sign a consent form for free testing and line replacement. Sign the form on the Guiding Golden page today!

Wilderness First Aid

May 18-19,  8 a.m. - 5 p.m.


This WFA course teaches students the skills to anticipate risks and hazards, identify medical, traumatic, and environmental problems, recognize life-threatening issues, initiate basic care, and deliver a cohesive report. The curriculum forces students to think creatively, adapt to ever-changing situations, and learn valuable leadership, decision-making, and communication skills. Road and Construction Updates

Right of Way Closures


  • N. Ford Street - N. Ford St. will be closed until the end of the day today for waterline installation.


  • Washington Avenue - Parking and the sidewalk on Washington Avenue will be closed from 11th to 12th Street from today until May 17 to erect and scaffold a canopy structure.


  • Ford Street - Ford Street will be closed from 7th Street to 10th Street beginning May 13 and ending May 17. The road will be fully closed from May 13 to May 15 followed by a sidewalk and one lane closure for the rest of the work.


  • East Street - East Street will be closed 16th to 19th Street: Xcel Energy's electric work on East Street, 16th to 19th Street, continues until May 31. Work will occur weekdays, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., expect traffic, parking, and sidewalk closures.


  • Colorado School of Mines: CSM campus has various closures. Check ROW permitting map below for details.
