ADAMS COUNTY BLOSSOM BELT | |
Trees budding across the region
Learn how to help promote this Spring phenomenon
|
Fruit trees across the Adams County countryside have begun to bloom, although the region's main crop - apples - are still waking up from the winter season.
As we await the arrival of our apple blossoms, Destination Gettysburg is primed and ready with its new Adams County Blossom Belt - a self-guided tour through the rolling hills north and west of Gettysburg.
As part of the Blossom Belt campaign, Destination Gettysburg has built a website landing page with a downloadable map, assembled a special list of events, launched a blossom photo contest and has begun promotions through social media, email marketing and media relations.
As we near the peak blossom time, we ask that partners join us in building excitement of the Adams County Blossom Belt by sharing our social media content, or generating their own posts with links back to our website.
Already, since early March, the Blossom Belt webpage has received nearly 3,200 views by 2,142 users.
If you have ideas or questions about how to participate, email Tinsy Labrie, Project Leader with Destination Gettysburg, at tinsy@destinationgettysburg.com.
Meanwhile, check out the webpage and join the excitement!
