Valhalla 33

The Valhalla fleet got a good workout at the Viking and Valhalla Dealer Meeting and Sea Trial Event last week, including the V-33. Hull No. 116 was on hand to represent this model. Boasting a Kingston Grey gelcoat and powered with twin V10 400-hp Mercs, the boat merges commanding offshore performance and high-level fishability with sleek lines and Valhalla style.

No one can match the build quality, fit, finish and attention to detail of a Valhalla. This V-33 features grey accents throughout, including the faux teak toe rail, powder-coated recessed bow rail, seating upholstery and coaming bolsters. The teak backrests for the forward seating, the teak helm pod and teak helm chairs are all stained in grey.

The helm is phenomenal, with its clean layout, recessed displays and ProCurve wraparound glass enclosure. The hardtop frame is powder-coated grey, and the hardtop underside matches the hull color.

The fiberglass seating module maximizes space for storage, a row of rod and cupholders on top, and a tackle locker with door that doubles as a rigging table when open, a large drawer and a cooler with cushion that slides aft for extra seating.

Superb workmanship and engineering exist everywhere you look. The Seakeeper 2 is mounted expertly in a specially engineered space with excellent access. The lazarette is immaculate and provides equally impressive access to the bilge and its pumps, manifolds, fuel management system, sea chest and other components.

The cockpit is highly functional, with toekick space all around, recessed Gemlux hardware and heavy-duty gasketing for all hatches for a tight seal. There’s a 52-gallon pressurized raised live well with an available clear lid, and the insulated port and starboard fish boxes are plumbed to a Whale Gulper pump for overboard discharge. The aesthetic enhancements continue, with the outboards' center access panels painted Kingston Grey.
