God’s Enablement is Bringing

Forth Fruit for His Glory

Greetings Ministry Partners,

We praise the Lord that He has enabled us to lead four Teacher Training Workshops (TTW) in February with a total of 52 participants. These and previous TTWs are resulting in new classes being started for the equipping of Christ-followers for effective ministry.

New Classes

Praise the Lord for the fruit of previous Teacher Training Workshops!

Pastor Jay Cariño attended a TTW in January and immediately started two classes in February—one in in Santa Maria, Bulacan and another one in Caloocan City.

The TTWs that Pastor Melvin and I held last January have started to bear fruit. The EFCP (Evangelical Free Church of the Philippines) pastors in Eastern Samar have started a training center called The Planters’ Academy in Borongan City. They are not just studying the curriculum; they are undergoing training while planting churches and serving at their local congregations.

Teacher Training Workshops

Pastors Reggie, Repaso, Bodegas, and Art Robles led a Teacher Training Workshop (TTW) in Surallah, South Cotabato with 17 participants from different denominations, including T’boli tribal churches. Lord willing, we will soon have tribal trainers equipping tribal pastors in their ancestral land!

Pastor Mabano also led two TTW’s at two churches in Butuan City. They are planning to start classes soon.

Pastor Manny and I also led a TTW with Pastor Mark, the President of the Evangelical Theological College of the Philippines in Luzon. We are praying that this will lead to a closer partnership between CCIP and the Evangelical Free Church of the Philippines.

Prayer Requests & Praises

Praise the Lord that Pastor Roland found a way to resume a class in Cebu City that has stopped for more than two months. Please pray that he will persevere until the class graduates.

Please pray for Leo as she works on the requirements to get a certificate of tax exemption for CCI Philippines.

Please pray for the safety of our staff as they go out and travel to remote areas to promote CCI, conduct trainings and visit classes. Pray also, for the health of our staff and their families.

Please pray for God’s provision for the education of the children of our staff.

Please pray for the churches of some of our staff. They are struggling financially because of decreased giving due to the pandemic.

Please pray that we can open new classes in new areas, especially in the Caraga region, Eastern Visayas and Ilocos region.

Please pray that the Lord would provide cellphones and laptops for some of our staff who cannot afford to buy new ones.

Please pray for our upcoming Global Conference in Chiang Mai, Thailand in November. CCI is taking care of our lodging, food, and local transportation. But we need to provide for our own transportation to Thailand. Please pray for God to provide. If you would like to help, that would be a tremendous blessing for me. Click HERE to help.

We appreciate your prayers and support.
