Here is how it works: - Customers can save electricity on Reduce Your Use days from 11 am to 6 pm and be rewarded with a credit on their SDGE bill.
- Customers can earn $.75 for every kWh saved between 11-6 pm on a Reduce Your Use day. If the customer has a emPower thermostat connected platform they can earn up to $1.25 per kWh saved. Customers must complete the Reduce Your Use Thermostate Program application.
- Customers can save energy by raising their central A/C's thermostat setting four-six degrees from where it is typically set.
