The Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) was established in 2003 in response to patients having to use medicines that were ineffective, unsafe, unavailable, unaffordable or had never been developed to treat Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). On May 6 from 10-11 a.m. in 160 Enarson Classroom Building, Samuel Kariuki, director, DNDi Eastern Africa, will discuss DNDi’s mission and vision, showcasing the key achievements of delivering 13 new treatments for the six most deadly NTDs in its 20 years of operation.
