which is my work,

which is mostly standing still,

RESCUE STORY

My mama noticed this beautiful owl just sitting in their yard on the pups toys. Zach came out with food and examined her and we thought maybe she was just frustrated and tired looking for food. Well, today she was back.

Mom went to talk to her and she wasn’t scared of her or anything. And something just told Mom maybe something was wrong with her. Nathan and I went out earlier today and Nate spotted her but she quickly jumped away back into the woods. Zach gave my Mom options and one was to contact Soarin' Hawk Raptor Rehab and she did just that and the rest is history.

The next set of pictures is of “Birdman” Ross coming all the way from Ft Wayne to help our girl out. He went right in the woods and got her. This was all help to earlier my Mom playing Owl noises on her phone and Mrs Owl would answer my Mom back so she knew right where she was located. Well, out he came with her all tucked in his arms, sweet as can be like she KNEW we all wanted to help her! Ross stated she was very dehydrated and stressed and thin so it was a great thing we called a habitat like them. Gus his dog was along for the ride too! Ross said he would keep us all posted on her and if she was an adult he would bring her back here to be released in her familiar habitat!

There are such GOOD hearted people in this world and these things make me smile SO BIG!!!!!!!! (It was also Ross’ Birthday today!!)

GOOD READS

Observer

by Robert Lanza & Nancy Kress

Take a mind- and consciousness-expanding journey to the very edge of science. The ideas behind Observer are based on real science, starting with a famous experiment in which the presence of an observer influences the path taken by a sub-atomic particle, then moves into cutting-edge science, applying quantum-level physics to the macro-world, the multiverse, and the nature of time and consciousness itself. It's a fun read, even if you're not that into the quantum stuff, and it does imply some interesting questions about how far scientific research should go.
