Summer is a time for vacations, taking a break, and on occasion trying something new. In that spirit, I want to invite you to do something that can be beneficial to both you and your church - trying out recurring giving for your pledge/ giving during the summer months.

Through recurring giving, your regular pledge or gift to the church occurs automatically via a draft from your bank account, credit card, or debit card at whatever amount and interval you desire. It's similar to a bank draft that many already use to pay monthly bills and other regular expenses.

The benefits of recurring giving are two-fold: first, you don't have to worry about forgetting to stay current on your giving to the church, since it happens automatically on a date and frequency of your choosing. It's also a great way to ensure that your gift is part of a regular income stream to help the church meet ongoing expenses such as staff payroll, ministry and programmatic needs, and utilities and facility costs.

This summer I'm inviting you to join me in trying out recurring giving for three months. Give it a shot and see what you think. If it doesn't work for you, you can discontinue it. But if you like it, it may be something you want to keep doing.

It's super easy to set up - in fact, HERE's a video I made that walks you through the process, step-by-step (you can also watch it below). It'll take you less than five minutes.

Still not sure? Check below to see why some of your fellow members do recurring giving. Then head to trinitypreschurch.org/recurring-giving to get started. And you can always reach out to Cheryl Jernigan, our wonderful Church Administrator, if you have any questions.

I hope you'll consider recurring giving this summer!

As Leviticus 27:30 states, "All tithes from the land... are the Lord’s; they are holy to the Lord." To me, recurring giving is the easiest way to fulfill our commitments to tithe. Recurring giving allows me to make sure my gifts to the church get automatic priority in my personal life before any other financial commitments; it is an easy way to give without any need to remind myself each week.

For our family, recurring giving takes the pressure off of remembering to bring cash or check in for the offering each week and allows us to focus on how our giving is impacting our faith community during collection on Sunday morning. It’s simple, keeps us consistent, and provides support to so many important ministries at Trinity with ease.

I chose recurring giving as I can meet my yearly pledge amount by budgeting my giving on a monthly basis. Recurring giving also aids the church in budgeting. It is so easy to set up, and you have peace of mind knowing that your pledge is being met and the church knows they can count on your contribution each month. Win Win!

We have done recurring giving ever since it became available. Tithing is about faith, responsibility, gratitude, and our commitment to our church. Online giving is easy and keeps us up to date on our pledges.

The recurring giving of my pledge has been a big time and stress saver for me. This is about my fifth year of giving this way. It's so easy and trouble free. No envelopes to fill out and the gift is made even if I am not in church. Yea!
