Like most of you I'm sure, I was really missing the sun, sand and sea. I was tired of the cold and grey weather here in Chicago! So, what does a girl do? She plans a personal trip with her husband to The Fives Oceanfront in Puerto Morelos, Mexico to thaw out our cold, cold bones. It was just what we needed.

Puerto Morelos is a cute little fishing village North of Playa del Carmen and a short drive from the Cancun airport. The Fives Oceanfront is a short 10 minute walk to the town center of Puerto Morelos where there are shops, restaurants and bars. The beach also has multiple beach bars that you can flip flop to during the course of your lazy days and check in with many of the locals. It's pretty far removed from the hustle and bustle of Playa del Carmen or Cancun, which is what I love about staying in Puerto Morelos.

Now, I'm back, refreshed and looking forward to planning some Spring and Summer travel! Next on the agenda for me, Spain! Where do you want to go?

Cheers to longer days and more excuses to head outside, maybe to the beach! 🌴

Last summer, Sandals Resorts launched a special "Honeymoon Do Over" sweepstakes. Dozens of lucky couples were invited on weeklong stays in ultra-romantic locales.

This got me thinking...if given the chance to re-do my honeymoon. would I? Of course, I'll take any travel opportunity that comes my way - it's who I am! But I know countless other couples that for one reason or another never got the honeymoon experience of their dreams. Maybe because of family commitments, lack of finances or something as simple as not getting the time off work. And then there's the thousands upon thousands of people who got married during COVID and had to postpone their travel plans.

Now is the time! Are you interested in a honeymoon re-do? Let's chat!

The benefits of group travel are vast. Group trips can deepen your relationships with friends and family, create life-long memories and a higher sense of safety if you're going off the beaten path. Another major plus? Additional people to take photos! When you travel solo or as a couple, it's just a lot harder to capture those picture-perfect moments that you can look back on forever.

Plus there are so many different types of group travel. Tour groups for women, for remote workers, for specific age ranges, destination types, travel styles and special interests. Occasions include bachelor(ette) parties, destination weddings, family vacations, wellness retreats, milestone birthday and anniversary celebrations, etc. etc. But what do all of these trips have in common?

Someone has to plan them!

I've been planning and participating in group trips for years now and have learned a thing or two along the way. Don't let the stress of planning your dream vacation keep you from taking that next step.

“Thanks to Wendy, our trip to Paris was absolutely wonderful. Not only did she find us a first class hotel, but her advice about taking a first trip to Europe was invaluable. She thought of everything and a lot of our anxiety was eliminated. If anyone wants a great travel experience, you could not choose a better travel agent than Wendy.”
