Greetings!
Like most of you I'm sure, I was really missing the sun, sand and sea. I was tired of the cold and grey weather here in Chicago! So, what does a girl do? She plans a personal trip with her husband to The Fives Oceanfront in Puerto Morelos, Mexico to thaw out our cold, cold bones. It was just what we needed.

Puerto Morelos is a cute little fishing village North of Playa del Carmen and a short drive from the Cancun airport. The Fives Oceanfront is a short 10 minute walk to the town center of Puerto Morelos where there are shops, restaurants and bars. The beach also has multiple beach bars that you can flip flop to during the course of your lazy days and check in with many of the locals. It's pretty far removed from the hustle and bustle of Playa del Carmen or Cancun, which is what I love about staying in Puerto Morelos.

Now, I'm back, refreshed and looking forward to planning some Spring and Summer travel! Next on the agenda for me, Spain! Where do you want to go?
