So much to tell youuuu! But it's #TeamUSA game time
so I'll get to it. I've got an awesome FREE full band show in Austin
at Guero's tomorrow and I'm headed to
NYC and Philly for a mini tour -- this time as a duo
so tell your friends out East!

Huge shout out to the Austin American-Statesman for this wonderful
surprise in today's Life & Arts section...

I learned to sing "Talkin' Baseball" as a youngster while sorting baseball cards in 3-ring binders, got freckles on my knees watching my brother switch hit, and I'm not braggin when I say I was a star player for the Tigers, my teeball team!

But when it came to soccer, I couldn't keep my hands off the dang ball. I may have caused a few turnovers for illegal one-armed throw-ins and quickly learned why you should never head the ball with the top of your head. DOH!

That said, I'm in awe of soccer players and their incredible footwork! This World Cup has been AMAZING, and I hope you find a way to cheer on the red, white and blue as we take on Belgium RIGHT NOW.
