An Invitation to the Churchwide Gathering in St. Louis

"Having served the church and in a variety of ways in New Mexico, Alaska, Tennessee, Ohio, Texas, Utah, and now in the presbytery of Giddings-Lovejoy Presbytery, I have come to know amazing women who “do everything in love” and who stop at nothing to accomplish God’s work of healing and liberation..."

Blog Post by Rev. Janet Riley, Co-Moderator of the Presbyterian Women of Giddings-Lovejoy and Retired Member at Large of the Presbytery.

EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES

Confronting Christian Zionism

Thurs., May 23 11:00 AM

Nationalism and Christian Zionism We are living in a time of heightened nationalism around the world, from North American white Christian nationalism to similar trends in Europe and even across Asia in forms entangled with Islam and Hinduism. If we are to control and roll back the racism that accompanies ideologies of supremacy, we must understand the history of our own nation’s white supremacy and how it has enabled the rise of racism both here and abroad.
