Westminster and First Presbyterian of Cape Girardeau began a Summer Series titled BIG SCREEN THEOLOGY on Sunday, June 16. They offer two weekly gatherings to watch a movie together and then Rev. Ellen Gurnon will preach a sermon based on the movie the following Sunday. They're keeping it light and fun – most, if not all of the films are animated by Disney / Pixar.

Synod of Mid-America Scholarships Available

DEADLINE is July 15, 2024

Funds are available for Presbyterians to use at any accredited institution of higher learning (including trade schools and graduate study programs.)

Scholarships are awarded per school year and are renewable with an annual application. Open to active Presbyterians within the Synod of Mid-America, and whose church membership qualifies as reported December 31, 2023.

Kansas - Total of 100 members or less | Missouri - Total of 50 members or less

Applicants will be judged on academic achievement, and involvement in their local church, school, and community. For more information visit http://synodma.org/college-scholarships
