Sounds of Spring Concerts

Wanda King Big Blues Band Revue This Friday!

Join us at City Hall Plaza, 4301 City Point Drive, as Live Music is back this Spring in North Richland Hills for the 2024 season of the Sounds of Spring Concert Series. The free Friday night concerts begin on April 19, with the Wanda King Big Blues Band Revue. Ms. King is the daughter of Texas blues legend Freddie King and she has assembled an all-star line up for the show. The concert will be at the NRH City Hall Plaza, 4301 City Point Drive. Gates open at 6 p.m. and concerts begin at 7 p.m.


Location & Time 

Sounds of Spring Concerts are held outdoors on Friday evenings in mid-April through mid-May at North Richland Hills City Hall, 4301 City Point Drive. Gates open at 6 p.m. and concerts begin at 7 p.m. Seating is on the lawn, so don’t forget your blankets and lawn chairs. 


Admission 

Admission and parking are free and food is available for purchase.


The NRH City Hall Plaza is a non-smoking park in accordance with City Ordinance #2249. The following are not allowed: video and audio recordings, unauthorized vendors and glass containers. Also, please no two-wheel scooters or skateboards. 


Food

Food will be available for purchase from a variety of food trucks, or you are welcome to bring your own picnic, but please no glass containers. A list of food vendors for each concert is available at www.nrhtx.com/sounds. The Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (CPAA) will be in attendance at each concert with water and popcorn to purchase.


Parking 

Parking is free and is on a first-come, first-served basis. When you arrive, please turn on to City Point Drive from Boulevard 26. Public Safety will then direct you to the concert event parking. Event parking signs will also help direct you and handicap parking is also available. Parking Map


Pooch Policy

Dogs are welcome to sit with their humans for the concerts, but dogs must be on a leash while at the NRH City Hall Plaza. Please make sure you pick up after your pet, and be aware that dogs that display aggression, such as snapping or loud barking will be asked to leave. We want to make sure people and their furry friends have a safe and fun time at Sounds of Spring!

Texas can provide some stormy weather in any season. Your safety and the safety of our performers is very important to us. Please check back on www.nrhtx.com or on Facebook for the latest updates if inclement weather occurs on the day of the concert.
