Open enrollment -- the annual window of time employees can change their insurance benefits -- is coming soon. To prepare for it, please make sure your contact information in ERS OnLine is updated and current by May 15, 2024, or you may miss out on important insurance information for Plan Year 2025.

It is important for all employees to verify and update their personal information on record with the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS). This includes your name, mailing and email addresses, and other relevant details.

Although you can update information at any time throughout the year, it is particularly important to do so before May 15, 2024. Failing to update contact information with ERS by this deadline may result in failure to receive essential benefits-related communications, such as Summer Enrollment materials and Personal Benefits Enrollment Statements (PBES).

Visit ERS OnLine

To update your personal information in ERS OnLine:

  1. Visit "My Account Login" on the ERS website.
  2. Click "Proceed to Login" if you have registered for an ERS Online account. Click "Register Now" to create one if you do not have an account yet.
  3. After logging in to your account, your home page will appear.
  4. Review your personal information, including mailing address.
  5. If you make any changes, make sure you entered them correctly and click "Save."

A confirmation message will appear.
