Coming Up at North Chapel
communityUpcoming Community Conversations
The North Chapel Board welcomes you to join in one of the upcoming community conversations we've scheduled.  The time seems right for us to gather as a community, so that we can check in with one another about how things are going at the North Chapel. In particular, the board wants to discuss some exciting new outreach initiatives in SE, which have the potential to bring our rich SE programs to the broader community, especially to those in need.  We also want to provide an update on the planned building renovations and improvements and efforts to fund those projects.  Finally, we want to open up space for discussion about the North Chapel's role in this challenging time in the larger world. (We can't be sure that the Search Committee will have news to share at this time about a candidate, but we will be able to answer questions any one has about where things stand in the search process.)

Please join us in the parlors for one of these discussions:

Sunday, April 2, following the service, 11:30-1:00 (bring a bag lunch-or eat heartily at coffee hour!)

Monday, April 3, 11:30-1:00  (bring a bag lunch)
Seeing Through The Wall: A New Film By Old Dog Documentaries
Apr 9, 2017 4:00 pm
Woodstock Town Hall Theatre
PENTANGLE PRESENTS A NEW FILM BY OLD DOG DOCUMENTARIES SEEING THROUGH THE WALL: Meeting Ourselves in Palestine & Israel
This film follows a group of Americans who traveled to Israel and Palestine in 2016 seeking to understand what life is like for Palestinians living in the Occupied Territories and in East Jerusalem. The journey became an intense encounter not only with the people they met, but also with their own preconceptions, an experience that for many of the travelers was transformative. Seeing Through the Wall invites and challenges viewers to question their own assumptions and prejudices.
The one hour film will be followed by Q&A with Rabbi Dov Taylor and the film crew: Anne Macksoud, Michael Sacca & Jesse Taylor.
Special Guest: Mohsen Mehdawi
FREE ADMISSION - DONATIONS GRATEFULLY ACCEPTED

Sunday had a wonderful eight-fold crew ready to share, play, and  create in the 'spirit' of spiritual exploration! Murray led a creative arts project which hopefully will complement an upcoming worship service. We're looking forward to melting snow and starting in on the CWTKR garden outside Artistree.
