FACESOFDEVOTION: Generations of Mary's Shrine

Pope Francis calls upon Catholics to celebrate July 24 as World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly. In honor of this festive occasion, The Miraculous Medal Shrine shares the story of Assunta Cerrato Romero, whose family devotion to Our Lady’s Shrine spans four generations. This commemoration provides us all with the opportunity to strengthen our own family bonds by visiting the foot of Mary’s altar and praying to receive her blessings.

Summer Novena of Hope

Dates: Nine Mondays from June 6 to August 1

Mary, Our Blessed Mother, is known by many different titles, which deepen our understanding of how she empowers us to become a community of disciples fashioned in the image of Jesus. Join us on Mondays through August 1 when The Miraculous Medal Shrine will elevate the various titles of Mary through the prayer of the Novena and the celebration of Holy Mass.

St. Vincent's Rosary Walk

& Our Lady of Knock Shrine

Creating an outdoor sanctuary for prayer and meditation.

Help support this initiative to create an outdoor sanctuary that will provide a prayerful oasis for devotees and preservation of green space for neighborhood residents to promote their spiritual, physical, and mental health. This green space will include a Rosary Walk, Meditation Garden, Marian Garden for Children, and Our Lady of Knock Shrine for prayer, solitude, and sanctuary.

July 26 is the feast day of St. Anne and St. Joachim, parents of the Virgin Mary and grandparents of Jesus. Anne and Joachim were childless for many years before the Angel Gabriel appeared to them and declared they would bear a child who would be dedicated to God. When Mary was three, Anne and Joachim brought her to the Temple of Jerusalem in fulfillment of the prophecy.
