New Overtime Laws

Effective July 1st, new overtime legislation requires businesses to correctly classify employees as exempt or non-exempt based on job duties, potentially increasing overtime costs. CHS Investor Spotlight

Community Health Systems Inc. recently conducted training sessions in June for approximately 30 managerial-level employees across six of their Senior Living facilities in Alabama. This program, focused on Mental Health First Aid, equips participants with skills to identify and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges, offering initial support until professional help can be engaged. The Gateway Workforce Initiative has completed five AWSP grants for investor businesses to be trained and certified in this training.
