Water Conservation Is Important Amid Drought Conditions

While drought conditions persist and demand for water increases, it’s important for each of us to use water wisely and adhere to outdoor watering schedules. Water early in the morning to prevent excessive evaporation. Check your irrigation system for leaks and to make sure sprinkler heads are working properly.

To conserve water indoors, be sure to check your plumbing for leaks and expedite repairs, turn off faucets while soaping your hands or brushing your teeth, and fill your dishwasher before running it. These are just a few simple things we can all do to save water.
