Gift Suggestions for the Holidays
Below are some of the top gift ideas for this holiday season. Ask a sales associate for suggestions or come browse our vast selection. You never know what you'll come across.
Necromunda: Underhive
Deep below the nightmarish, polluted hive cities of Necromunda, in the twisted, dark tunnels of the Underhives, rival gangs fight to the bitter end for personal power, survival and the honour of their Houses.
Designed for 2 players, this is a game of tactics, skill and absolute ruthlessness, set on the iconic hive world of Necromunda. Players choose 1 of the 2 included gangs in the box, and fight brutal skirmishes on the game board using everything at their disposal - ducking behind barricades to survive withering hails of gunfire before popping up and shooting back, placing and overriding traps, using the decrepit, crumbling corridors of the Underhives to unleash precise strikes before scurrying back into the dark. Survival in the Underhives is a difficult and desperate business, where violence is often the only option.
Explorers of Ixalan
Explorers of Ixalan challenges you to defeat your
opponents along the way as you search for the lost city of
Orazca.
Games take about 40 to 45 minutes and can support 2 to 4 players.
Players battle over a board of hexagonal tiles they may claim by paying the amount of
mana shown on the back face. Each tile then reveals either an event for an immediate
effect, a quest for a reward on completion, or a site that grants a
continuous effect but can be stolen by other players. The more tiles revealed, the closer the players get to revealing the Golden City of Orazca. The pool of tiles (50) is larger than the number that are actually used each game (29), so some variation occurs.
The set contains 47 reprints and one
token with the Explorers of Ixalan
expansion symbol. The other cards are
Ixalan cards with the Ixalan expansion symbol.
Unstable Unicorns
Start with a Baby Unicorn in your Stable, and begin building your Unicorn Army. Each Magical Unicorn comes with a special power, but don't underestimate the power of Basic Unicorns!
Use Upgrades and Downgrades to protect and build your stable (or attack other players MWAHAHAHA). Instant Cards stop other players from laying down a card, so they'll either be your best friend or your worst enemy. The first person to complete their Unicorn Army wins!
Happy Salmon
Happy Salmon is the simple, fast-paced card game packed to the gills with high-fivin', fin-flappin' fun. Actions including the classic "High 5", the unifying "Pound It", the frantic "Switcheroo", and the delightful "Happy Salmon" will leave players doubled over in laughter. With so many mini-celebrations built into the play, it's the happiest game ever!
How to Play
- Everyone calls out the action shown on their top card.
- When two players have a match, they celebrate by
performing that action together, then discard their top card.
- The first player to match all of the cards in their deck wins!
Iconic Masters
Iconic Masters assembles potent cards from Magic`s 23-year history to deliver some of the most high-powered drafts ever to hit your play table!
Featuring new artwork on many cards, the set brings an array of massive Angels, Sphinxes, Demons, Dragons, and Hydras alongside some of our favorite and most memorable spells. This 249-card expansion for Magic: The Gathering is introduced in 15-card boosters packed in 24-count displays.
Game Haven has a holiday Special on Iconic Masters, Get your boxes while supplies last at the discounted rate of $190(regular price $240).
Codenames: MARVEL
The Marvel Edition of Codenames combines the hit social word game with the Marvel Universe including Spider Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Avengers and Doctor Strange. Opposing teams, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra, compete to be the first to identify all of their team's 'field agents' from 25 Code cards displayed in a 5x5 grid. A must-have for Marvel fans of all ages.
2-8 Players
Ages 10+
Contains:
200 Code Name Cards
40 Key Cards
Team Cards: 8 Blue Team Cards, 8 Red Team Cards, 1 Starting Team Card, 1 Assassin Card, 7 Infinity Gem Cards
