Welcome Back! Safety Week, Homecoming Activities and More!

Dear KASD Friends and Family,

I hope that this September edition of the Galloping Ghost Stories finds you doing well, enjoying the moments, and focusing on your STRONG start to this school year.

We are starting to settle into our routines for the 2016-2017 school year, enjoying the hustle and bustle of student activity at our schools, getting to know our new students and staff members, rising to challenges and celebrating successes. We have a lot to be proud of.

As we continue on the path ahead, I'd like to remind you to keep in touch with us! Whether it's an email or phone call to a teacher or principal, or it's following your school, the district or myself on social media, we want to make sure you're connected.

Enjoy the Galloping Ghost Stories,

Mark P. Duerwaechter, Superintendent
