End of the School Year, Senior Week, Upcoming Events, Call for Choir Alumni, Activities Update and more!

Dear KASD Friends and Family,

With summer break right around the corner, I would like to sincerely thank you for your support of KASD this year. The success that our students are experiencing is a product of the strong partnership that exists between you and our schools. Each of you contributes in your own way and it impacts our ever growing and improving school community. We are grateful for your support and we are deeply committed to strengthening our partnership, one family at a time.

As I write this letter on a sunny and warm afternoon, I can feel the enthusiasm for the end of another successful school year. I, too, look forward to the many summer activities that are being planned; I am wondering if this is the summer that my golf game finally comes around and where Mrs. D and I will spend a few days over the Fourth.  I hope you all enjoy looking ahead at what the summer holds, however, I also encourage to take a few minutes and look back a bit and reflect on the growth and progress your students have made physically, socially, emotionally and academically during this school year.

Maybe your child was one of the nearly 40 freshman students take an Advanced Placement class for the very first time, embracing a major challenge and making an enormous investment into their future. Or p erhaps the social adjustment to a new school or a new grade has made for a challenging year for your student, but you can see that in nine short months, they've also learned new coping skills and experienced social growth.

Each school year brings the potential for many forms of growth. And each summer break brings a chance to reflect on that growth, take pride in our accomplishments, make adjustments where needed, and look forward to the road ahead. Congratulations, KASD, on another year to be proud of.

Thank you for your continuous support of Kaukauna Area School District. Take Care, and enjoy the summer break.

CALLING ALL CHOIR ALUMNI!

Our Kaukauna High School Choirs would like to invite you to sing with us at the Spring Concert on Friday, June 2nd. That's right - join us on stage to conclude the concert with the song "No Time" SSATB arranged by Susan Brumfield (music will be available as you come up on stage).

You don't have to rehearse with us prior - we'll be well prepared for you to read and sing along as much or as little as you'd like!

Whether you graduated last year or years ago ... we want you to combine for one, united, Kaukauna Strong Choir.

If you'd like to prepare ahead of time, please contact Becky O'Brien by email or by calling (920) 766-6113 x 5002 and she can provide you with a rehearsal track.
