Dinan Promoted to Colonel in Army Reserves

Join us in congratulating Project Executive Robert J. Dinan, PE, CCM, LEED AP, who was recently promoted to the rank of Colonel in the Army Reserves. In addition to his GREYHAWK project leadership, Dinan serves as Battalion Commander of the 301st Information Operations Battalion in Fort Totten, N.Y. This expeditionary unit has soldiers deployed to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East where they serve as special staff to U.S. Army Regional Commanders and provide coordination for civil affairs, public affairs and military information support units. In the Army Reserves since 1995, Dinan has deployed to Panama and Guatemala, where his infrastructure improvement work as an Army Construction Engineer earned him the Humanitarian Service Medal. He has also served in the Horn of Africa and Germany. Dinan’s service has been distinguished with the Army Commendation Medal, Meritorious Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Presidential Citation, and Army Superior Unit Award. Dinan is a graduate of the Commander’s Staff Service College and Information Operations Advanced Operations Course. He also holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Drexel University and an M.S. in Administration from Central Michigan University. According to Dinan, the leadership skills and decision-making processes and programs he’s learned in the military provide him with a sound basis to adapt those same protocols to his work at GREYHAWK, both on the construction site and at the executive level.
