Ribbon-Cutting for New Rose M. Lopez Elementary School

GREYHAWK Project Manager Tania Rabitsky attended the September 24 ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Rose M. Lopez Elementary School in Perth Amboy, N.J. The school fulfills a longtime vision of the families and administration of Perth Amboy School District. Eight hundred K-2 students are consolidated from five community elementary schools to participate in the unique dual-language program the school offers.

GREYHAWK served as construction manager for the NJ Schools Development Authority on the 128,000 sf design-build project. HAWKs Tania Rabitsky and Anthony David worked full-time on this project from mobilization in April 2017 through school opening for the 2019-20 school year. Well done team on another successful school construction project!

Facility Assessments: Proactive & Preventive
Prudent management of any type of facility is predicated on accurate, comprehensive, and current understanding of the physical and operational condition of critical systems and building components. The GREYHAWK Facilities Assessment Team works with our clients to survey and assess building conditions, identifying structural and functional condition and documenting any necessary repairs and/or replacements that will ensure continued reliable and efficient operating status.

Our assessment team is composed of knowledgeable and highly experienced professionals with extensive experience in design and construction of buildings and site improvements. GREYHAWK’s cost estimators work with our assessment team to assign costs to identified remedial action recommendations, supporting our clients’ facility master plans and budgeting for facility improvements. Our reports provide critical information related to life safety, operational considerations, energy efficiency, and code compliance. Working with a trusted strategic partner, we also conduct vulnerability and risk assessments for all types of facilities to evaluate facility/campus security and identify improvements and processes to protect people and critical infrastructure.

The assessments performed and resulting documentation prepared by GREYHAWK can become the basis for developing emergency action/operations plans, standard operating procedures, and continuity of operations plans.

Please contact us if you’d like to discuss ways that GREYHAWK can help you develop confidence about your facility condition or create a meaningful plan for maintaining and optimizing your operations and resilience. Contact Project Executive Jay Appleton at jappleton@greyhawk.com for more information.
