Following a very challenging seven days, and a rather bizarre weekend, the Government has now published new guidance on essential travel (see link below) stating that
“Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays. People should remain in their primary residence.
There is a lack of clarity as to whether this extends to Hotels, B&Bs and Self-Catering premises and we are awaiting further details from the Tourism Council on this aspect, but in the meantime we have updated our
COVID-19
message to reflect this new guidance.
Please also note that a number of Forestry England's main car parks are closing today. We will continue to work with Forestry England, the National Park Authority and New Forest District Council to ensure all information is consistent and up to date. The list of car park closures can be seen

The Government has just announced more detail of business support measures outlined last week.
They have also launched a dedicated website that collates information on the support available for businesses
