The Gay Men's Chorus of Charlotte is on the air

at K104.7!

Greetings!

GMCC has launched into virgin territory by being the first identifiable LGBT organization on local commercial radio.

Beginning today, GMCC will be running a series of short ads on K104.7, which is running all holiday music.  The staff at the radio station worked with us to come up with a very affordable plan and a cute, catchy ad.

I just had to share it with yo. Click here to get a sneak peek!!

Being on commercial radio is important because it raises the profile of Charlotte's LGBT community. It's an important part of our mission to help create a society that values and respects its lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender members.

Despite this being the 21st century, the station will likely take some heat for running our ad from the radial right wingers who will say something like "that Gay Men's Chorus, they're trying to ruin Christmas!"  Please take a minute in the next couple of days to tell them you like the ad by sending an email to Lori Eskridge at LEskridge@k1047.com or posting a positive comment on K104.7's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/K1047

Thanks again for your support, and I look forward to seeing you on December 14 and 15!

All the best to you and your family,

John Quillin
