GHAR Members Complete C2EX Endorsement
|
Congrats to Taheera Pinto!
Taheera's comments about the C2EX program:
The c2x program demonstrates a commitment to go above and beyond the usual training and CE requirements. It is an intense program that reinforces the correct decisions that we need to make when faced with ethical and business issues in real life. The exercises and tests are not just multiple choice, they encourage practical thinking and require you to execute activities that reinforce the importance of integrity and involvement. It has always been important to me to take the extra step to show my clients (and myself) that constant training and education is very relevant in our field.
Get started on your endorsement today by logging in to www.C2EX.realtor.

NAR's Seller Class Action Litigation
|
NAR and 4 corporate (brokerage) defendants were sued in lawsuits filed in Missouri (plaintiff “Burnett”) and Illinois (plaintiff “Moehrl”) alleging commission rates are too high, buyer brokers are being paid too much, and NAR’s Code of Conduct and MLS Handbook along with the corporate defendants’ practices lead to set pricing. NAR and the corporate defendants adamantly disagree, and NAR’s rules are very intentionally pro-consumer and pro-competitive.
NAR developed the website competition.realtor that hosts key points, FAQs, videos, articles and infographics regarding how local MLS broker marketplaces enable consumer access and opportunity and foster competition as well as how REALTORS® are consumer champions.
There is also realestatecommissionfacts.com to aid consumers’ understanding of broker services and how real estate professionals are compensated.
