Resources For Businesses Impacted by the Key Bridge Collapse
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience has declared the impacted areas eligible for federal disaster assistance. This means that businesses struggling with economic losses due to the bridge collapse can now apply for low-interest disaster loans to help them recover. Specifically, small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private, non-profit organizations of all sizes meet their ordinary and necessary financial obligations that cannot be met as a direct result of the disaster. For more information, see here.
The MD Chamber of Commerce has also curated a page of resources to support area businesses impacted by the bridge collapse. Click here.
