GCVCC to Host Candidate Forum for Desert Health Care District
The Chamber will be hosting the Desert Healthcare District Board of Directors Candidate Forum on October 8th, at 5:00 PM. The forum will cover many topics important to the health of the Coachella Valley, including access to healthcare for underserved communities, behavioral health initiatives, and more.
State Adds New COVID-19 County Health Equity Requirement
To advance to the next less restrictive tier in the state’s COVID-19 Tier Framework, Riverside County will now need to meet an equity metric and/or show plans for targeted investments to eliminate neighborhood disparities in levels of COVID-19 transmission.
