Assistant Principals play a vital role in shaping the educational landscape of schools. Their leadership, guidance, and commitment are indispensable to fostering an environment conducive to learning and growth. It is imperative for APs to attend conferences tailored to their professional development. You do not want to miss the GASSP Assistant Principal Conference.

Attending the GASSP Assistant Principal Conference provides APs with an unparalleled opportunity to network and collaborate with peers from across the state. Building a professional network is essential for APs as it enables them to exchange ideas, share experiences, and seek advice from colleagues facing similar challenges. The conference facilitates meaningful connections and fosters a supportive community where APs can find inspiration, guidance, and camaraderie. These connections extend beyond the conference, serving as a valuable resource throughout the year.

Attending the GASSP Assistant Principal Conference is not just a professional obligation but a transformative experience that can elevate the practice of APs and enhance the educational landscape of their schools. By participating in this event, APs gain access to unparalleled learning opportunities, valuable networking connections, and essential resources that empower them to lead with confidence, competence, and compassion. I look forward to seeing you there.

Dear Educators:

As we all work to have a successful spring semester, it is hard to believe that our graduation ceremonies are just around the corner. On behalf of the Georgia Association of Secondary School Principals (GASSP), I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to you for your continued membership and dedication to our organization and public education in Georgia. You play a vital role in our state and by serving in your local community. Your commitment to being a member of GASSP not only demonstrates your leadership and advocacy for secondary education but also reflects your unwavering support for the professional development and advancement of your fellow principals across the state. As a member of GASSP, you play a vital role in our collective efforts to promote excellence in secondary education, foster collaboration among school leaders, and advocate for policies that benefit both students and educators alike. Your active participation in our conferences, workshops, and networking opportunities enriches our community and contributes to the ongoing growth and success of our association.

Your commitment to working to connect with our students and guide them to a brighter tomorrow is both commendable and inspiring. I know that our work is challenging and, perhaps now than more than ever, it is important to remember that every positive connection made leaves a mark on the future of our students, our state, and our country. On behalf of GASSP, thank you for all you do! I would also like to remind you of the open application for the prestigious Melton Callahan Scholarship. This scholarship opportunity is open to any senior in our state who is the child of a GASSP member. I encourage you to please share this information throughout your community and challenge any deserving student to apply.

Lastly, I extend my sincere thanks to each of you for your membership in the GASSP. It is my belief that your membership and participation are meaningful as you work to collaborate, learn, and join others in similar positions throughout Georgia. As you do, please plan to attend and/or send members of your team to our various professional learning opportunities throughout the year. I look forward to seeing you at these events, and I wish you a terrific rest of the year. If I can be of service, please feel free to let me know at any time.
