We're quite sad to send out this final email newsletter announcing that our beautiful community center/dance studio is now closed. We were not in a strong enough position to renew the lease for an ever-increasing rent in this changing area of South Lamar. The good news, however, is that nearby Balance Dance Studios has been working diligently to save many of our classes, both of the school and of our renters, incorporating most classes within their space and schedule. If you're unsure about whether your class made the transition, please contact Balance at 512-215-8727 or visit BalanceDanceStudios.com.

Thank you to all of the students, instructors, performers and Galaxy community members who came to our final dance showcase and "Farewell to Galaxy" party yesterday afternoon. We appreciate being given the opportunity to enjoy your presence in the space one last time. Although Galaxy's doors are now closed, the Austin dance community is still very strong and we're sure we'll dance with you again at one of the many fantastic dance studios in town.

With tremendous appreciation for your support and presence at Galaxy,

Lorn and Heather
