GACCs collaborate with Fraunhofer InnoHealth
Virtual symposium focuses on scientific research in health sector

During the week of June 7-11, 2021, the German American Chambers of Commerce in New York, San Francisco and Atlanta jointly hosted a virtual delegation as part of the Fraunhofer InnoHealth USA 2021 campaign. InnoHealth USA is designed to strengthen the scientific research and cooperation between the US and German health sector. The campaign was led by the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft as another constituent component of the Research in Germany initiative. The delegation consisted of nine research and SME tandems with exciting and innovative digital health projects.

Over the course of eight 2-hour sessions, participants will practice the communication, learning and motivation skills at the core of professional development. The program will conclude with a certification exam.
This best practice mentorship course was innovated as a foundational element to the world class German Apprenticeship system. The skills, which are essential to the successful mentorship of a skilled apprentice are the same skills that are necessary to lead successful and continuously improving teams in any industry.

Virtual delegation trip to Reeperbahn Festival |

US executives, multipliers and buyers from the recorded music industry are invited to virtually engage in Europe's largest club festival: Reeperbahn Festival, Hamburg, from Sep. 21-24, 2021.
The GACC NY will be hosting a US-delegation of max. 20 participants to virtually connect with German stakeholders and experts in the music industry for an in-depth look into live events, distribution, marketing, artist management and international collaboration opportunities.
The program will include digital access to selected highlights of the festival & conference, networking opportunities, virtual site-visits, panel talks, individual matchmaking, the opportunity to present in front of an international audience and receiving an overview about Germany’s entertainment market. The project is part of the Market Entry Program for small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).

A great discussion on the patient journey took place last month featuring panelists representing companies that have developed innovative approaches to enhancing healthcare by creating a balance between technology, patient care and comfort.
This was the latest virtual forum hosted by LEAP (Leaders of European & American Partnerships), a consortium of European-American Chambers of Commerce.

All Systems Go!
The Bavarian government announced that trade shows can take place again beginning September 1, 2021. That means IAA Mobility, the trade show which has been re-branded and focuses on the Future of Mobility, will take place September 7 – 12, 2021 in Munich, Germany.
With vaccinations becoming readily available and borders opening up, we feel confident that IAA Mobility will take place as planned. And we hope you will join us!
The main product categories of the show will consist of e-cars, e-bikes, e-scooters and autonomous vehicles as well as suppliers thereof. The last show had over 3,000 exhibitors and more than 500,000 visitors. And while there may not be as many in-person attendees, the show will also have a digital component to it. This will provide industry participants who cannot attend the opportunity to join us.
There will be 3 different sections of the show:

The Summit is the technical core of the event and will bring decision makers, experts, industry members and suppliers together as a trade show and conference area

The Open Space will take place throughout the city of Munich at all the main landmarks and be open to visitors for a unique experience

The Blue Lane is a test track directly linking the Summit with the Open Space and will present low to no-emission vehicles for test drives
