Pastor Don Brewington Guest Preacher

Sunday, January 14

Pastor Don Brewington, campus pastor at Huston-Tillotson University, has blessed Gethsemane Lutheran for decades with his witness sharing the Epiphany Season message of the glory of God revealed in Jesus. Gethsemane is grateful to have this Baptist brother share his faith and ministry. Pastor Brewington, Gethsemane is honored to share ministry with you and HTU students.

We're accepting monetary donations for HTU. Give online (designate HTU) or donate on Sunday.

Annual Gethsemane and San Lucas Encuentro/Encounter Weekend

January 12-14

Please pray for those attending this special “encounter” or “encuentro” weekend for Gethsemane and San Lucas congregations to work side by side and expand our vision of ministry together. San Lucas is celebrating their 36-year history and Gethsemane has been a part of that ministry for over 27 years.

Ronald Frederick Kingsbury claimed the promise of his baptism on November 13.

A memorial service will be held this Sunday, January 14th at 1:30 pm at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Austin. Please keep the Kingsbury family in your prayers. Blessed be the memory of Ron Kingsbury.
