Future 15 celebrated outstanding Fox Cities YPs

Future 15 was an inspirational event with an amazing class of incredible young professionals! The night celebrated YPs who work hard, give back, and inspire others in the community. This year, we were excited to have our alumni come back and pass on the awards to the newest members of the Future 15 family. We can’t wait to see how the future of the Fox Cities unfolds with the help of our amazing young professionals.

Small Business Start Up

The PULSE Professional Development Committee hosted a Small Business Start Up event at Fox Communities Credit Union this past month. YPs were able to learn from local entrepreneurs who helped guide them in their business journey. We had a panel with a variety of experts who all gave great advice and sparked phenomenal conversation.

Meet Zach Newsome

Client Relationship Manager

Huberty CPAs

Meet Zach Newsome! Zach came to the Fox Valley in 2010 and has stuck around ever since. A graduate of UW-Oshkosh, Zach works for Huberty CPAs, an accounting firm, as a client relationship manager, specializing in tax. He helps small businesses plan for their future, including finances and beyond! Zach loves traveling to any national park and being outside on a hike, bike ride, or run. He and his fiancé, Carley, enjoy going to new restaurants with favorites being Stone Arch and Carmella’s.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

“I don't think I ever had one thing I wanted to be when I grew up. To the core I wanted to do something that helped people. That job would always change when I was younger but it was centered around helping people. Now I get to help small businesses and their families achieve their dreams. That is what is rewarding to me.”

What has been your favorite PULSE event?

“My first PULSE event was my favorite, where we walked around downtown. We had so many businesses we were supposed to visit and the people who visited the most got prizes. I learned a lot about some of the local businesses and created some lasting relationships with various small groups from that night.”
