Ron Chappell
Funeral & Internment Service

This Saturday, Trinity is honored to support Sandy Chappell and her family in honoring long-time member Ron Chappell who passed away on December 2, 2021.

Ron's funeral service will be held this Saturday, January 22, 2022 beginning at 1:00 PM Pacific Time. Members and guests may attend the service in person or participate remotely through our YouTube livestreaming channel.

All those who plan to attend in person MUST comply with the in-person policies stated below.

The service will be followed by a reception in Rogers Hall provided by Ron's family and hosted by Rhonda and Richard McGee. All those in attendance for the reception MUST comply with the Reception Protocols provided below.

In Person Service

To attend Ron's funeral in person, attendees must come prepared to comply with the following protocols,
which have been revised as of 12/17/21:

1) All attendees 12 years and older must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Children 5 - 11 years old must have proof of at least one vaccination. Boosters for adults are highly recommended but not required at this time. All attendees must provide proof of vaccination, which can be given to the Church Office ahead of time by calling 425-252-4129 for instructions. If you have already provided proof of vaccination to the Church Office or at previous services, then you have been placed on an approved Vaccinated Membership/Attendee List.

When attendees arrive at the church, ushers will either verify that either your name is on the Vaccinated Membership/Attendee List or they will ask for proof of vaccination. Those who are not on the approved list or do not have proof of vaccination will not be permitted entry.

2) After verifying vaccination, ushers will ask a series of health screening questions before directing attendees into the sanctuary space through the door nearest the stairwell. The large wooden double doors will be closed for entry but may be used for exiting the sanctuary.

3) Those attending in-person worship, 2 years of age and older must wear masks.

4) Printed service bulletins will be available on the usher's table

5) While being checked in, you will be given a special sticker that indicates that you have been approved for access to the funeral service and reception. Please display the Health Check sticker in a visible place on your shirt or jacket so that it can be seen at all times while you are on campus.

Reception Protocols

For those attending the Reception following the funeral service, [Please be aware that the Guild Room and Narthex should not be used as gathering spaces. After health screening is completed, all visitors must proceed into the sanctuary prior to the start of the service.

What you can expect for Reception in Rogers Hall:

1) Each round table in Rogers Hall will be preset for guests. Please take a seat - hospitality servers will bring beverage and food requests to you at your table.

2) While seated at tables, individuals may remove their masks. However, whenever you leave your table to walk through Rogers Hall, use the restroom, or exit the hall, masks are mandatory.

3) Please use Rogers Hall for visiting, leaving the Narthex space cleared.
