Healthy People/Healthy Behaviors Focus Area


Healthy Behaviors Program Grant
Letter of Intent deadline: Thursday, December 19, 2019;
No later than 5:00 p.m. CT
Letters of Intent must be submitted using the Foundation's online application process.  

The Rapides Foundation has released its Healthy Behaviors Program Grant. Through this grant opportunity, the Foundation seeks to prevent and reduce obesity and prevent and control tobacco use by funding communities committed to implementing strategic action and research-based prevention programs across the nine Central Louisiana parishes served by the Foundation. 

This is a two-stage grant process. The first step is to submit a Letter of Intent by December 19, 2019. Approved Letters of Intent will be invited to submit a full proposal due to the Foundation by April 9, 2020. Grants of up to $225,000 over a three-year period are available.
