Explorium Brewpub pledges to raise $20,000 for the MKE Dog Park

Explorium Brewpub recently announced their mission to raise a whopping $20,000 to help make the Downtown Dog Park a reality! To support the effort, they are also donating $1 per beer sold and $2 per each 3 pack of Crowler Cans sold at their Third Ward location to support the fundraising efforts. Plus, when you donate, you get a special edition Explorium Dog Park sticker to show off to all your friends. Shine a Light on Pets Helping People | September 18

Pets Helping People has been training guardians and loving dogs to provide pet therapy for those in need of comforting cuddles since 1998. On Sunday, September 18, Light the Hoan will Shine A Light on their mission by illuminating the Hoan bridge to honor 24 years of their efforts.

Join us at the viewing party that evening at Boone & Crockett (818 S. Water St) from 5:30 to 8pm. Celebrate with food from Taco Moto and pet vendors including Off Leash MKE, Canine Enrichment Center and Skilos present. As an added bonus, all proceeds from each Light the Hoan bulb sold online here on September 18 will be donated to Pets Helping People. Click here to find out more about this event.

Wag Wednesday

Drink Wisconsibly Pub| September 21

Join us at the next edition of Drink Wisconsinbly’s Wag Wednesday on September 21 from 5:30 to 8:30pm. This time, check out WoofBowl, a dog food truck serving up fresh and healthy treats. Humans can enjoy the mouth-watering, plant-based eats from Twisted Plants. Plus, vendors OllyDog Threads and Wet Nose Candle Company will be there selling local goodies. Fromm Petfest

Henry Maier Festival Park| September 24

Fromm Petfest is back, celebrating its 9th year of four-legged fun at Henry Maier Festival Park on September 24, 2022, from 10am to 6pm. Created to celebrate the love of pets, this all-day event features festivities for the entire family to enjoy. From pet-centric activities including Dock Diving, Lure and Agility Courses, Dog Park and a Doggie Dash speed trial to live music and entertainment, shopping, food, games and more, it’s a day that’s gone to the dogs. Yappy Hour in the Yard -

Iron Horse Hotel | September 28

Come on and get yappy at the Iron Horse Hotel’s next Yappy Hour in the Yard on September 28. From 6 to 10pm, $1 from each Iron Horse Pilsner sold will benefit the MKE Dog Park! Howl-O-Ween in the Ward |

Mark your calendars! Furry friends and human friends can get together for a day out in the Historic Third Ward for Howl-O-Ween in the Ward on October 23 from 1 to 4pm. It's time to get shopping for matching frocks for you and your pup, because Halloween costumes are encouraged for all. With plenty of food and drink booths, activities and local goods vendors in Catalano Square, this will be a day full of tail-wagging fun for all!
