A Great Day!
Thanks to the thousands who came out to join us at Streets Alive! on Sept. 10.  We had lovely weather and a great turnout in the Belmont neighborhood.
   
We are also grateful to our wonderful exhibitors, food vendors, and performers for joining with us to make our community more healthy.   A special thanks to our amazing sponsors, planning committee, and volunteers for helping our city get out and get moving.  A shout out to UNL Women's Basketball team for coming out to support us at Streets Alive!

The Community Crops Veggie Van will offer fresh local produce at 23rd & O Sts. until Sept. 30.  Community Crops,  the Asian Community and Cultural Center, and Open Harvest are hosting a cooking class on Brazilian food on Sept. 26. Learn more or register.

The Asian Center is also hosting their Harvest Moon Festival at
Antelope Park on October 7th, from 4 PM to 8 PM.  Food, culture, entertainment and a health fair. 

 
Move More Lincoln offers free outdoor yoga, on Sunday, September 17th and 24th at 10 a.m. at the John Shildneck Bandshell  in Antelope Park, St 3140 Sumner St.

The Nebraska Sports Council is hosting the 2017 Pumpkin Run on Oct. 7.  The largest of its kind in the nation, thousands of Lincoln elementary school kids will participate in a cross country run at Pioneers Park. Come out and watch. Learn more.

The YMCA is kicking off their Fall Fitness programming.  Lots of activities for people of all ages and abilities  Learn more.

Partnership for a Healthy Lincoln (PHL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health, wellness, and fitness of our community. We collaborate with other organizations on joint projects to improve health by increasing physical fitness, promoting healthy weights and good nutrition, supporting breastfeeding, and improving cancer screening and vaccination rates.
