If you are applying through Georgetown's institutional process (deadline for all materials is September 1, 2024 at 12 PM NOON ET), please complete this very brief Intent to Apply form today or as soon as possible.

This important information will help us prepare for the campus committee evaluation and mentorship process.

9 Days Until September 1!

By now, you should have reached out to your recommenders and, if required, language evaluators and affiliation contacts. Register your confirmed recommenders and evaluators in the Fulbright application portal! All application materials, including letters and forms, are due by September 1, 2024, at 12 PM NOON ET.

IMPORTANT: If you are applying through Georgetown's institutional process, you are required to fill out the 2024-2025 Fulbright Waiver and Agreement Form. Take a minute to do so today!

ALSO: As explained on our website: "The center reserves the right to not match with a campus mentor applicants who LOCK incomplete draft applications by the September 1 internal due date."

"Can I Lock My Application Now?"

Some applicants who are ready to lock their applications in the Fulbright portal have asked if their recommenders/evaluators can still submit their letter/forms, by the September 1 deadline, even if the application is locked. The answer is: YES.

Locking your application earlier than the September 1 deadline will not prevent individuals from submitting materials by the internal deadline.

More About Late Applications

As we approach Georgetown's institutional deadline (September 1, 2024 at 12 PM NOON ET), we have been receiving a version of this question: Can I still apply after September 1?

The Center for Research & Fellowships follows Fulbright's guidance, which is, "Students who miss the campus deadline are still able to apply through your institution but will not have the Campus Committee Evaluation (CCE) form or the benefit of the campus review process."

If you will not meet Georgetown's September 1 institutional deadline, but still plan to apply for Fulbright, you can list Georgetown University as your institutional affiliation. But you will not be matched with a campus mentor for the campus committee evaluation process.

Please fill out this Late Application Form if you are applying after the September 1 deadline.
