The First Chamber Champion: Dr. Rosemary DePasque of Belleair Bluffs Chiropractic

Above, Aaron Jones of GarrisonPro presents the Chamber Champion certificate and gift card to Dr. Rosemary and the Belleair Bluffs Chiropractic team.

Belleair Bluffs Chiropractic is a health and wellness-focused office in the beautiful town of its namesake. Three caring and thorough professionals highly value educating their patients to empower them to make the wisest healthcare decisions.

All three doctors are graduates of Sherman College of Chiropractic in SC, however, Dr. Jan Rivera is the clinical director and the sole adjusting doctor in the practice. His techniques are considered to be the single most gentle and yet specific in the chiropractic profession. Dr. Jan is the former recipient of both the "Service Distinction Award" as well as the "BJ Palmer Philosophy Award." He is married to Dr. Tatiana Rivera, and they have a 9 month old son, Abraham. The pair look forward to serving the Belleair Bluffs community for many years to come.

Dr. Scot is from West PA, and Dr. Rosemary is from NJ. Together, they graduated Magna cum Laude in 1990, and were married the same year. They have owned and operated successful offices in West, Central, and East PA, and they have two grown children. They are multi-award-winning coaches for Team and Life Conditioning (TLC), and have been coaching chiropractors across the country since the early 2000s. They taught a ground-breaking business curriculum as professors at their alma mater for 4 years. The doctors defended their thesis statements for the esteemed Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers in December 2020, obtaining their ACP degrees. Dr. Rosemary and Dr. Scot are passionate about educating students, doctors of chiropractic, and the public about the role of chiropractic in health.

Belleair Bluffs Chiropractic enjoys helping entire families to stay healthy with chiropractic, and educating our community about natural health. We offer Free Health Talks to the community every Tuesday from 6pm to 6:30pm. Central Pinellas Chamber members are entitled to waive their initial exam fee!

Sea levels are rising but parts of Florida are also sinking, research shows

Sea levels have already risen several inches since the start of the century and could be around 6 feet higher by 2100. But another factor could be making those sunny day floods in Florida worse: We’re sinking.

They came for Florida’s sun and sand. They got soaring costs and a culture war.

Florida has seen a population boom in recent years, but many longtime residents and recent transplants say rising costs and divisive politics have them fleeing the Sunshine State.
