Welcome to September! I hope you had a really special, unique-to-you and what you love most to do rest of July and August, and that you are entering into this month renewed and refreshed.
It is my pleasure to give you a gift .... your own meditation that I created for you to listen to as many times as you like...which I will link you to in a moment...
I wanted to move into September by taking a minute to share memorable and meaningful parts of my own summer, as shown above in the photos. First, I hiked and swam in my favorite place to combine both, Harriman State Park, where the most gorgeous hike always gets rewarded with a jump right into this pristine and luscious lake. Being lucky to live near the Long Island Sound, I also did my share of swimming high tide and connecting with the sun and sand.
The somewhat fuzzy picture you see of me doing my victory dance is my personal celebration of having overcome my injuries of last year and being able to run the annual Cook Your Buns Race (some of you might have read my story in T.H.E. Blog). Normally, the best part is the barbeque sponsored by Whole Foods!, but this year, it was the act of crossing the finish line, when last year, I didn't know when that day would come.
The other two photos are of my time in Colorado, which was for Red Live, part of the transformational women's Red Tent Revival I shared with you last May and June. It was a celebration of women and an honoring of women and men; the feminine and the masculine. 130 women from all over the world came together in a ski resort in Keystone, Colorado to share an incredible few days reclaiming their pleasure. It was life affirming and life changing, evolutionary for changing our relationships with ourselves and with all the men around us.
Finally, I got some quiet time in Boulder to connect with the mountains and hike the breathtaking Mesa trail.
Thank you to each of you who responded to my last newsletter with summer food memories of your own; they each brought me back to more of my own delicious thoughts about eating my favorite foods in the summertime.
I am really so happy to share this first meditation with you. I designed it to be just over 15 minutes so that you have enough time to really relax without being too long to bring into your life. Please take the time and create the space to listen uninterrupted and bring some real relaxation into your day. You are welcome to listen again and again, if you find it comforting, invigorating and relaxing - simply put, if it makes a difference for you and gives you something good, go for it and enjoy!

Meditation Gift for YOU! xo

Wishing you a wonderful entry into September...may the start of this new season bring you exactly where you want to be.

With Love and Health,
Hope
