"I've been so lucky to follow Tom Tang for over 15 years in his time attack efforts all over the US. Watching him progress as a driver to make it all the way to Pikes Peak makes me so happy. It's awesome to see our generation of enthusiasts getting to participate in one of the oldest motorsports events in the world. Looking forward to seeing a lot more as the culture continues to grow."

Meet Roger Lovell
PPIHC Board of Directors
Roger Lovell is a father and professional engineer, native to Colorado Springs. He proudly serves as the Building Official for the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department.
Just as the Pikes Peak Hill Climb is part of Colorado Springs, it was part of growing up for Roger. Fond memories of watching a dusty, cold race from Devils Playground with his father and brother, Brad, would continue to shape his future.
In 2003, Roger and his brother chose to enter the world of motorsports and start competing in rockcrawling. In 2010 and 2011 these brothers each made an attempt to conquer the mountain. Over the course of 20 years, Roger and Brad have been very successful in off-road motorsports including numerous wins at the Baja 1000, King of the Hammers, and the Finke Desert Race in Australia.
As a previous Pikes Peak competitor and crew chief, Roger knows the challenges, pitfalls, highs and lows that Pikes Peak can present on any given day.
He shared, "It is an extraordinary honor for me to continue to serve the Pikes Peak Hill Climb as a member of the Board of Directors."
