Trump returns to Pennsylvania to campaign for the first time since attempted assassination

In a history-making appearance, former President Donald Trump returned to Pennsylvania Wednesday—his first Pennsylvania visit since the assassination attempt in Butler.

Emotions ran high as people packed an arena in Harrisburg to hear a man who had had a near-death experience. In his speech, he talked about protecting innocent life, and the statement took on greater significance, given his brush with a bullet that grazed his ear.

Perhaps the most moving incident at the Harrisburg event occurred when former President Trump requested a moment of silence for the former firefighter killed in Butler. Thousands of people lowered their heads and prayed for Corey Comperatore, who heroically shielded his family from harm while sacrificing his own life.

ABORTION

His wife had a miscarriage, but he calls it an abortion. Here's why it wasn't.

recent op-ed in Newsweek titled in part, “Abortion Care Saved My Family,” purports to show that ‘abortion’ is pro-life. While the author attempts to show that his wife needed an ‘abortion’, in reality, what she needed and received was standard miscarriage treatment. As Live Action News has repeatedly shown, the two are not the same, though the same procedure may be used in both instances. Miscarriage treatment attempts to remove an already naturally deceased child’s remains; induced abortion intentionally kills a preborn child and then removes the remains.

In the piece, author Jason Nichols, a “senior lecturer in the African American Studies Department at the University of Maryland College Park,” explains that his wife was several months pregnant when she started experiencing heavy bleeding and severe chills. After a trip to the emergency room, she received heartbreaking news.

The man wrote that ultrasounds were performed, showing the absence of a heartbeat at 14 weeks, followed by an emergency D&C -- a miscarriage.

PRO-LIFE IN ACTION

Group of 7,500 pro-life doctors plan to offer online class on 'abortion pill reversal'

As the abortion pill becomes the most common way to kill preborn children in America, one group of doctors is working to ensure women know that they can seek help to potentially save their babies’ lives even after they take the first drug in the two-drug abortion pill regimen.

Known as “abortion pill reversal” (APR), the treatment is the same protocol used to help prevent miscarriages in at-risk women since the 1950s. It has been used for 15 years. APR uses progesterone to counteract or outcompete the action of mifepristone (the first drug in the abortion pill regimen), which blocks progesterone, a naturally-occurring pregnancy hormone.

AAPLOG, an organization of about 7,500 pro-life medical professionals, aims to offer an evidence-based rationale for defending and protecting the lives of pregnant women and preborn babies. A $100,000 grant from the Heritage Foundation will allow AAPLOG to offer its Abortion Pill Reversal Education and Recruitment Project in support of “its efforts to utilize Continuing Medical Education (CME) alongside an extensive media campaign to reach physicians, patients, insurance providers, and everyday Americans nationwide with the truth about abortion pill reversals…”

PERSPECTIVE

Poems by a couple whose daughter died by euthanasia.

The Execution is a collection of original poems in memory of a daughter who was killed by euthanasia.

Alex Schadenberg met the authors of the poems at a conference that he spoke at in Cornwall, Ontario. They told him about the death of their daughter and it was clear that they were still experiencing the trauma of her death by euthanasia.

He writes:

They shared with me several of the poems, in memory of their daughter, and I was moved by the poems. I find the poems to be truly from the heart, from a place of sorrow and loss. I asked the couple if EPC could publish the poems because lately I am meeting many more people who have lost family or friends to euthanasia. The agreed.

It is my hope that these poems will help others express the truth of what euthanasia actually is. It is also my hope that people will find solace or an outlet for their own emotions after a euthanasia death.
