Champions for life applaud closure of the Warminster, PA abortion center

An abortion center in the Philadelphia suburbs is shutting its doors next month—an unexpected but welcomed development in the on-going campaign to protect innocent human life in Pennsylvania.

Planned Parenthood in Warminster, PA plans to cease operations on June 28th, according to a notice posted on the Planned Parenthood Keystone website.

The closure would mean that 17 abortion facilities remain in the Keystone State, with Philadelphia remaining the abortion capital of the Commonwealth because of the large number of abortions performed there.

Misleading study links 'anti-abortion' laws to higher homicide rates for pregnant women

A problematic, misleading study from researchers affiliated with Tulane University tries to correlate certain homicides with pro-life laws.

A recent study conducted by researchers affiliated with Tulane University and published by Health Affairs earlier this month titled “States’ Abortion Laws Associated With Intimate Partner Violence-Related Homicide Of Women And Girls In The US, 2014–20” claims that the enforcement of certain “anti-abortion” laws is correlated with increased homicide rates for pregnant women and girls ages 10–44.

Abortion advocates within the media are uncritically regurgitating the study’s findings – and even expanding upon the conclusions drawn by the study itself. But the claims made in these articles, as well as those made by the study, are misleading and problematic in multiple ways.

MOTHER'S DAY

The First Time I Saw My Baby Smile Was in the Womb

I will never forget the first time I saw her. It was on an ultrasound machine, where I could make out her smile, which resembled my mother’s.

The ultrasound technician pointed out that my preborn baby was playing with her toes, which brought home to me the full humanity of that child tucked safely within my womb.

The next time I would see her would be in the hospital, a few seconds after she was born. She had wisps of strawberry-blonde hair and a healthy cry.

She was just as much my daughter before birth as after birth.
