Thank you for supporting the 28th edition of Evening in the Maritimes. It was a SHELL of a good time!


We are thrilled to share that the event has raised over $375,000 to support direct-impact programming and services for people with disabilities and their families in Ottawa.

We are excited to announce that our Volunteer EDIA (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility) Training will be taking place from May to June 2024. This training is designed to provide our volunteers with the knowledge and skills necessary to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.


Dates: May 27th - June 30th, 2024

Format: Online sessions (via HR downloads)

Volunteer Referral Program


As announced at our Volunteer Appreciation Event, we will be launching a Volunteer Referral Program starting next year. This program is designed to encourage and reward our volunteers for referring new volunteers to our organization. Stay tuned for more information in our upcoming newsletters.

Every year, roughly 40,000 people from Ottawa and abroad get together and show their community spirit! This year, you can show your support for people with disabilities in your community, by donating to ABLE2 or to a participant running for ABLE2 in The Ottawa Race Weekend!
