Hello Hyde Park,

FRIDAY CONTEMPLATION: Celebrating Chalette

Chalette has faithfully served The Portico since September 2015. Her positivity, dedication, faith,

and skills have been vital to our growth. We would not be where we are today without her. She has led us to deeper engagement with justice issues, art, and new ways to connect with people who wouldn't ordinarily walk onto a church campus. It has been my honor to work with her and to learn from her. Her last day is Friday, March 17. But she's not going too far. One floor up to be exact.

I am delighted to announce that Chalette will be serving as the new Executive Director of Love INC. Love INC is housed on the 3rd floor of The Portico. Its mission is mobilize local churches to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ.

Please send Chalette an email expressing your appreciation. Or mail her a card to The Portico, c/o Chalette Davis, 1001 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, FL, 33602.

More good news: Chalette will continue to be a part of our church community. You'll likely see her at The 1001 Gathering.
