Susie Sharpe Art Exhibit Benefiting Second Heart Homes | | |
|
|
Susie Sharpe, a Physician-Artist with a remarkable journey, is making her Sarasota debut at the Art Avenue Gallery (3501 Tamiami Trail) on October 29th, from 3 PM to 5 PM.
A graduate of Yale Medical School, Susie has enjoyed a successful medical practice for over 25 years. However, over a decade ago, she rekindled her lifelong passion for art, embarking on a dual career as a physician-artist. Her art has graced international art fairs in New York, Paris, Miami, Madrid, Brussels, and Luxembourg.
What makes Susie's story truly inspiring is her humble beginnings as a 16-year-old Korean immigrant who overcame language barriers, cultural differences, and poverty to achieve her dream as a Physician-Artist. Her artistry and story have been featured in numerous magazines and podcasts, and she delivered an inspiring TEDx talk earlier this year, which you can watch here: TEDx Talk.
Drawing inspiration from her medical journey, Susie's art is a breathtaking fusion of beauty, vibrancy, and upliftment. She has created captivating series for Ocean Lovers, Music Lovers, Wine Lovers, and abstract art enthusiasts. Don't miss the opportunity to own a piece of her stunning art while supporting Second Heart Homes.
