We enjoyed such a beautiful evening at the Gather & Grow Farm Social on October 1! The setting, the food, the scenery were so beautiful, and even the weather (though we can't take credit for that). The atmosphere was relaxed, joyous and fun.

Gather & Grow was made possible by generous support from our sponsors. With their donations of funds, services and products, our Farm Social became a reality.

What's Growing at Roots & Wings

At the beginning of the summer, myself, Yatte and Ken had an opportunity to spend some time at Beyer Early Childhood Preschool. Previously I had met with Principal Blackwell to discuss how we could use Blackhawk Courts Farm as a living classroom for both her students and teachers. The reality of having the entire student body visit the farm soon became unrealistic.

A Fond Farewell

Autumn at the Learning Center is always full of changes. The beautiful oak leaves turn from green to stunning red and yellow, the fall flowers bloom, and the gardens are put to bed for the year.

Along with the natural changes come changes to our amazing On-Farm Staff. We are saying goodbye to Laura Sjoquist, our long-time On Farm Program Manager. Laura has worked incredibly hard the past few years ensuring children and adults alike have received quality education.

Target Circle + The Learning Center

Angelic Organics Learning Center has been chosen to participate in a charitable giving campaign sponsored and funded by Target. You can help direct a portion of Target’s donation to us by voting online!
