Free Marketing Potential for your Tourism Business!
Utilizing grant money received from the Maine Office of Tourism, Maine's MidCoast & Islands (MMI) is launching a target marketing initiative tentatively named "The People of Maine's MidCoast & Islands" that will feature individual tourism-related business owners/managers/staff from around the region.
The Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce is an active member of MMI, and as such, our members are encouraged to participate in this new tourism marketing opportunity.
The visibility will include at least one photo of you/your staff taken in your work environment, along with a brief description or invitation. Video footage may also be captured. As a participant, you will gain use of the photography/videography that is captured.

PBMC Lists Knox Center, Bok Building Properties
Pen Bay Medical Center has listed the Knox Center and Bok Building in Rockland with a commercial real estate broker. As many Chamber members know, we have been preparing to close the Knox Center and transfer its short- and long-term nursing care residents to the new Breakwater Commons facility under construction on Old County Road in Rockland. The decision to list the Knox Center for sale comes after determining that it would be impractical to convert the building to serve another use for Pen Bay Medical Center.
The adjacent Bok Building faces a similar challenge. However, the listing of the Bok Building includes a condition that allows us to lease back space for our highly successful Walk-in Care practice while we identify and develop a new location. More...
